The VM-4 vacuum oil is used as a working fluid in high-performance booster oil-vapor pumps, auxiliary steam-jet pumps and forepumps, as well as for oil-sealed mechanical vacuum pumps. The VM-4 vacuum oil consists of highly purified mineral oils. A distinctive feature of this oil grade is its high oxidation stability.
